We are honored to welcome Lorna Little, President & CEO of St. Anne’s Family Services, as our keynote speaker. Lorna is a dynamic and compelling speaker, known for her ability to move audiences, inspire hope, and ignite positive change. With extensive experience leading programs that empower children, families, and underserved communities, she brings both expertise and heart to every message.
As the author of Mums the Word! and a former television host, Lorna masterfully blends storytelling, professional insight, and real-life experiences to engage and uplift listeners. Her presentations leave audiences inspired, motivated, and reminded of the power of connection, resilience, and purposeful action. At the Rise & Thrive Gala, Lorna will share an empowering message that celebrates community impact and the strength we find when we rise together.
Founder & CEO of Nexellence LLC, Kenneasha Sloley is a dynamic educational leader with over 23 years of experience transforming schools and inspiring others to “dare to dream big.” A passionate advocate for inclusion and equity, she holds multiple degrees, has completed the Superintendent’s program, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate. Her energy, expertise, and heart for mentorship make her the perfect host to guide us through an unforgettable evening.
A highly sought-after musician in the Northeast, Derrick M. Roberts II delivers smooth, soulful blends of jazz, R&B, and gospel. A Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford, he uses music to create healing spaces and inspire connection within Black and Brown communities.
A powerhouse performer known for her versatility and soul, Ysanne has performed from Dean College to Six Flags New England and The Rep in Portsmouth, NH. She’s opened for Juelz Santana and brought iconic roles like “Motormouth Maybelle” and “Billie Holiday” to life on stage.
