Our Story
WISE Network Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving underserved communities throughout Connecticut. Founded in 2012 by Karen Bell, WISE grew from her work as an administrator in the Hartford school system.
Through her relationships with parents, especially women, Karen recognized a gap in access to resources, education, and opportunities. She began mentoring mothers and supporting students, helping families set goals and build stronger futures.
From those early efforts, WISE Network was created to bring women together to share knowledge, build community, and expand access to resources and opportunities across Connecticut.
